Born and raised in Iran, Yasaman was exposed to vernacular architecture and climate-responsive design from an early age. This early exposure ignited her passion for architecture, leading her to earn a bachelor’s degree in architecture in her home country. Throughout her studies, she gained invaluable hands-on experience in concrete and metal construction, spending significant time on construction sites, where she learned about the practical aspects of building.
Soon after, Yasaman moved to the United States to further her education and professional development. She was awarded a scholarship from the University of Idaho, where she pursued her master’s degree in architecture. During her two years on the Moscow campus, she served as a teaching assistant for courses in environmental control systems, materials and methods, and introduction to architectural graphics, collaborating closely with fellow students and faculty.
In her second year at U of I, Yasaman’s talent caught the attention of Williams Partners Architects at the university’s career fair. After graduating in May 2024, she relocated to Sun Valley, where she is excited to follow her dream of becoming a world-class architect.
