AIA

Jakub contributes diverse mountain town experience from design work in Jackson, WY and Bozeman, MT. He has worked on a wide range of project types; including a three-story hotel, retail design, net-zero ready community housing, and an award-winning mountain home.

Jakub was raised in Chicago, IL and was enrolled in various architectural courses hosted by the Art Institute of Chicago and IIT Architecture prior to starting his undergraduate studies in 2005.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Montana State University and was honored with the Tau Sigma Delta Medal to represent his graduating class. Well-traveled and with a strong appetite for exploring contemporary design, Jakub enjoys learning from others.

Apart from new approaches, Jakub often re-visits historic architecture. He currently serves as Commissioner on Ketchum’s Historic Preservation Board.

When not in the office, you will find Jakub trail running at Sun Valley Mountain Resort. He is considered an elite ultra distance runner and competes on a national level.
