Ketchum Mixed Use II

This mixed-use project in downtown Ketchum integrates a historically significant 1930s log cabin with contemporary commercial and residential space. The 744-square-foot cabin, listed on the Ketchum Historic Building List, was repositioned to the corner of the site to preserve its visibility within a denser urban context. New construction is set back to maintain a clear distinction between old and new, drawing on design approaches found in European mountain communities where traditional structures coexist with modern interventions. The program includes office space within the historic cabin, residential units above, and a third-floor outdoor social terrace. Restoration efforts honored the cabin’s heritage.
